One college campus has taken the seven key themes identified in The Intentional Life, and adapted their focus for their efforts to address drug and alcohol misuse. With attention to each of these themes individually, the student speakers provide insight and strategies helpful for others to consider.
At Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, Kurt Dunkel, Program Director of Connection AOD & Wellness Programs, prepared seven brief videos that are being used as public awareness initiatives with students. Funding was provided to The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) Alcohol and Other Drugs Coalition, from the Opioid Response Network, and through the state’s Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP); this allowed Kurt and his colleagues to have these videos professionally prepared for distribution on campus.
These videos – with the thematic area represented - are available by downloading the attached document with the URLs for the PSAs.
