Welcome to the Contributor’s Section for A Healthy Life: The Young Adult’s Guide for Well-Being, One Day at a Time!

I appreciate very much your interest in potentially making a contribution to this book. This website page has several links and resources designed to help make your contribution easily prepared, and minimize back-and-forth for various review and approval elements.

Summary of the Eight Well-Being Constructs

The attached PDF has a one-paragraph description of each of the eight constructs. These descriptions are what was submitted in the book proposal. The topics identified are just a sampling of issues for each of these areas; many more are appropriate!

If you have a topic you’d like to develop, or if you would like to see a larger listing of potential topics in a particular well-being area, please reach out.

Guidelines for Content Preparation

Each contribution has the same overall format, with title, brief summary, main content, action steps, and bio. Attached is a more detailed description of each of these items.

Each contribution should focus on a single topic, and prepare it in a way that is engaging and relevant for the young adult. The audience will likely be primarily college students, but will also include other young adults pursuing various endeavors as they graduate from high school.

The length is based on extensive experience with preparation of The Intentional Life. A total of 450 words is identified as the maximum length. If a photo or other artwork is included, the word count is 325.

Samples from The Intentional Life are included, with the Word document submitted to the final layout of the submission in the book.
